Delco TM of the Year
Delaware County Toastmasters (Delco) - Club 3204

Michele Guerin was voted the Delco Toastmaster of the Year.
 
Michele served as the Delco Toastmaster VP of Education for the 2007-'08 years. She consistently coached members to ensure they reached their goals and arranged a number of workshops, events and other club activities to help members enhance their speaking skills. Michele's passion for Toastmasters is evident in her acceptance of assignments and various roles during meetings and her participation in regional Toastmaster events/activities.
 
Michele continues to demonstrate her leadership skills and will serve as the Area Governor of Area 7B for the year July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009.
 
Congratulations Michele! We're honored to have you in the club.
 
2008 Delco Toastmaster of the Year

 
Delco Toastmaster President Stu Greenberg presents Michele Guerin with the Toastmaster of the Year award.
 
The 'Toastmaster of the Year' is selected by the members at the end of the Toastmaster year. Below is the criteria list on which this award is being based. It serves as a guide to all of us at Delco Toastmasters and clearly gives an idea as to what each member could strive for to receive the award.

 

Criteria List

 

  • Regular attendance at meetings
  • Taking on assignments and various roles during said meetings
  • Mentoring Performance – Assisting and helping mentees reach their goals?
  • Consistent progress as defined by the TM Manuals
  • Assisting officers with initiatives (education, membership recruitment/retention, public relations, etc.)
  • Participating in regional Toastmaster events/activities
  • Taking part in any capacity at competitions
  • Referring new members
  • Helping in any capacity outside of roles at meetings
  • Assisting in club activities - events, competitions.
